This policy describes how the Unorthodox Motors website handles information when you browse vehicles, create an account, submit a vehicle, or contact us.
Information we handle
We collect information you provide, including your name, email, profile, messages, inquiries, support requests, listing details, and uploaded files. If you choose text replies, we collect your phone number, consent record, and text history. Security and service records can include IP addresses, request times, account activity, and delivery status. Listing view counts and inquiry activity help us understand how the service is used.
Public and private information
Your public profile, published listings, approved listing media and documents, comments, and questions can be visible to other visitors and search engines. Do not post information you want to keep private. Account credentials, guest contact details, private messages, submission review material, and support requests are handled as private information. Authorized staff can inspect reported content for moderation.
How we use and share information
We use information to operate accounts, publish listings, respond to inquiries, coordinate with sellers, deliver requested messages, prevent abuse, and support the service. A private message to a seller is visible to its participants. Guest inquiries go to the Unorthodox team; relevant inquiry details may be shared with the seller when coordinating your request. Service providers process information needed for hosting, email, texting, and AI replies. When enabled, text conversations and relevant vehicle details are processed by our AI service to prepare replies. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the service and its users.
Cookies and browser storage
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. Browser storage supports features such as comparing vehicles. You can clear these through your browser; clearing the session cookie signs you out.
Your choices
Texting is optional and is not required to inquire or buy. Reply STOP to opt out of texts. Account settings provide notification and email preferences. Use support to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, or to ask about our handling of it. We may ask you to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Storage and security
We retain information needed to operate the service, handle inquiries and disputes, maintain security, and meet applicable obligations. Backups may retain earlier copies after information changes in the active system. Access controls and other safeguards reduce risk, but no service can guarantee absolute security.
