About the Lexus IS F

The IS F was the first Lexus F performance car: a compact sedan with a 5.0-liter V8, developed with Yamaha's help on the cylinder heads and rated at 416 horsepower, and an eight-speed automatic with quick manual-mode shifts. Lexus revised it steadily through its 2008 to 2014 run, adding a limited-slip differential for 2010 and retuned suspension afterward. Stacked quad exhaust tips and flared front fenders set it apart from the standard IS.
