The 981 Cayman, sold for 2014 through 2016, is the last generation with naturally aspirated flat-six engines across the range: a 2.7-liter base car and a 3.4-liter S and GTS. A longer wheelbase, wider track and lighter body improved on an already well-balanced car. The 2016 Cayman GT4 was the first Cayman from Porsche's GT department, pairing a 3.8-liter engine from the 911 Carrera S with a six-speed manual only and suspension components from the 911 GT3.
