The reborn Defender arrived in the US for 2020, replacing the body-on-frame original with an aluminum unibody, independent suspension and available air springs. It comes as the four-door 110, the shorter two-door 90 and the longer 130. Engines have included a turbocharged four-cylinder, a mild-hybrid 3.0-liter inline-six and a supercharged V8. Despite the modern construction it keeps serious off-road hardware: low range, locking differentials and Terrain Response.
